He works in a documental program that is an output for different CITRU materials on Mexican theater, with the aim of integrating such materials to the Arts Library. He reads papers for Academic Gatherings for Documentation and Research at the National Arts Center (Centro Nacional de las Artes) and at the Theater Research Sessions by AMIT. In these works, he reflects on the research processes through conceptual stages of the document. Sergio has published "Eschatology, Thanatology and Documentation, a Worship of the Dead", in Academic Conferences of CENIDI, Danza José Limón of the Digital Library of DENIDI-Danza, and a fragment of "Towards a Three-Dimensional Model of Stage Research", on CITRU´s webpage. Also, he has introduced lectures about three-dimensional models for semiotics and interdisciplinary studies in artistic education in two issues of the Peirceanas International Sessions. He participated in the seminars “Art Education” and “Sign and Introduction to Mijail Bajtin” at the Internal Conference of CITRU, and in workshops about art research, plays with puppets and the making of artist books, amongst others. Also, he has participated as assistant director in various plays, as well as actor in Caligula, by Albert Camus, dir. Tibor Bak Geler (work that was part of the first International Festival for Higher Theater Schools in Warsaw, Poland). Sergio is a professor for the Art Education Bachelor’s Degree given at the San Luis Potosí Arts Center (Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosí). At CITRU, he currently works together with researcher Sergio López Sánchez in the preparation of indexes for specialized books about theater of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century.
