Andrea Garza Garza
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua [Autonomous University of Chihuahua], where she graduated cum laude.
At CITRU she performs copyediting and editorial support tasks. She was a fellow of the “Scholarship program for the training of young writers” of the Foundation for Mexican Literature (2014-2015), in the category of Literary essay. She is the author of En media res. Ensayos críticos y literarios [In Media Res. Literary and Critical Essays], published by the Culture Institute of the Municipality of Chihuahua in 2015. Her most recent article is included in Crimen y ficción. Narrativa literaria y audiovisual sobre la violencia en América Latina [Crime and Fiction. Literary and Audiovisual Narrative on Violence at Latin America (National Autonomous University of Mexico / Bonilla Artigas, 2015). As an adjunct professor she taught the courses: Spanish American Poetry (XIXth – XXth centuries) and Spanish American Narrative (XIXth – XXth centuries) at the Literature and Philosophy College of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
