There are more than 500 references to the first volume; they now include specialized magazines with monographic topics. The main body of the abstracts has, besides references, indicative summaries which describe the contents of the texts. These summaries are organized in six sections: Reference Books, History of Theater, Theory and Method of Theater, Interdisciplinary Studies, Studies on Different Types of Performances, and Studies on Artists, Trends and Groups. In the second part of the book there are author indexes as well as title and topic indexes, which make the access to information easier. It also records a list of institutions that hold collections of reference books.
