Since 1991 he has dedicated to work with the image field, in which he has trained as an autodidact.

He works at the Centro Nacional de Investigación, Documentación e Información Teatral Rodolfo Usigli (CITRU) [The Rodolfo Usigli National Theater Research, Documentation and Information Center] of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) [National Institute of Fine Arts], with a project on theatrical-video that establishes a link between theatre, research and the documentary film language.

  • Along with Héctor Ortega Galindo, he co-directed the documentary Príncipe andamio. Homenaje a Eugenio Toussaint, 1954-2011 [“Andamio” Prince. A tribute to Eugenio Toussaint]. He also edited the film and worked as a photographer (one of three cameras) in this production based on the disc Música en silencio [Music in Silence] of Diego Herrera. 2014

This happened as part of a project called “Escuelas abiertas para la equidad” [“Open Schools for Equity”], carried out by the Secretary of Public Education, the Unit for Planning and Evaluating Educational Policies, and the Organization of Latin American States for Educations, Science and Culture. 2009
