She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater, a Master´s in Humanities, Research and Latin American Theater and a PhD in Latin American Theater.

She has been an elementary and preschool teacher, theater actress and director. She has carried out research and the application of multidisciplinary techniques in art education programs. She has been the director of INBA´s Children´s Theater Center and member of the Commission for the Programing of Art Education for National Education before the National Technical Council of Education, SEP. She has carried out the application of art techniques in the structuring of projects for SEP and INBA. She has created programs and guides for teachers of the National System of Initial Education, CENDIS, in preschool, elementary school and junior high school. She has been the director of the Pedagogy Advisory of the Theater Management of INBA and project coordinator for "Theater for Special Education" at INBA for six years (the results of which were published). She has created projects for the Technical Advisory, such as "Theater for Special Education", "School of Art Theater" and "Dissemination of Pedagogic Actions and School Audiences". She has been director of the Rodolfo Usigli National Theater Research, Documentation and Information Center. She has coordinated and carried out research, documentation and distribution projects at this center. She manages various research paths: theater for children, theater for disabled children, theater audiences, vaudeville in Mexico, Theater and the promoting action of María Luisa Ocampo, theater and politics in the work of Marcelino Dávalos, Aesthetics and dramaturgy in the work of Emilio Carballido and theater and history in the archive for the Xavier Rojas Historical Theater. She has promoted and spread theater research through courses and conferences given in the country’s cultural institutions. She has collaborated with CONACULTA´s program “Wings and Roots for the Children”. He has also published books and articles as a result of these researches.
